The Challenge
To create a community site for sailing club members, events, sailing lessons and increase membership base throughout Coastal Georgia, South Carolina and the Intracoastal waterways.
Completed site: http://chathamsailingclub.org

Community Friendly
In 2009 the Chatham Sailing Club was originally formed as go-to club for local sailors in the Savannah, Georgia area to fill in the gaps between existing sailing clubs schedules. Newer objectives are to meet the evolving and diverse needs of its growing member-base.

Social Sailing and Racing
The main goal for the website is connect with members, provide a club calendar, host and co-host events, sailing races, provide member information, collect dues and registration fees.

Sailing School
The sailing school has been a tremendous success and the club would like to expand it's classroom and on-the-water training programs.
Insights
The Chatham Sailing Club is growing rapidly. Members are sailors of all levels and experience. The club hosts both racing and cruising events as well as conservation and volunteer activities around Georgia's intracoastal waterways.
From its conception, the club's primary goal has been to provide sailors of all ages the opportunity to participate in sailing activities including racing, cruising, social events, and regattas.
Chatham Sailing Club is a 100% volunteer based organization. All membership dues go to the operational and promotional expenses. Affordable sailing classes are offered to members at the beginner level.
Free website and hosting services are currently being used and the CSC board would like to re-design and expand the site capabilities to engage, retain and grow the its membership community.
