What I'm working on. . .

Great projects begin with stories and challenges. This one began with the personal purchase of a fifty year old sailboat and subsequently joining a small marina community where marine services and repair technicians are scarce and inaccessible. Seeking additional hands with common interest and product development skills. Are you in the same boat? Let's collaborate.

The problems . . . are many
  • Owning a boat is exciting, but expensive, complicated, and frustrating.

  • Owners need faster access to technicians.

  • Boat owners want cost transparency and predictable expenses.

  • Many consumers crave education and support for DIY-friendly maintenance.

  • Tech-enabled platforms can simplify scheduling, documentation, and service tracking.

  • High Costs. Annual upkeep = 10% - 30% of purchase price

  • Long waits for service. Technicians booked weeks out

  • Unpredictable breakdowns – 'Break Out Another Thousand'

  • Complex maintenance. no standardized diagnostics like cars

  • Limited Use – Seasonal boating, but year-round expenses
