'With Everything' Bagel Potatoes
Preheat oven to 425 degrees F. Drizzle olive oil over 2-3 sliced, shredded or cubed potatoes on a baking sheet. Toss with oil until well coated. Sprinkle Everything Bagel Seasoning evenly over the potatoes. Space well, not touching, and bake for 20-30 min.or until browned.S
Lonesome Dove Tend Ur Biscuits Bowl
Nothing fancy here. Throw together camp-style eggs, any style, fried bacon and fresh baked cast iron biscuits.
Biscuit Recipe: Combine : Cut 3 cups self-rising flour into ¾ cup cold unsalted butter, cubed. Add 1 cup chilled whole buttermilk, chilled and 2 teaspoons vegetable oil. On a lightly floured surface, gently knead the dough 4 times. Roll dough about ¾ inch thick. Fold dough in half. Using a 3-inch round cutter, cut dough, re-rolling scraps once. Wipe bottom and sides of an 8- to 10-inch cast-iron skillet with oil. Place pan in oven until very hot, about 5 minutes. Place biscuits in hot pan, overlapping slightly if needed. Bake until golden brown, about 15 min. Pan will be hotter 'n Texas asphalt. Let cool 5 minutes.
Fresh Steamed Spinach & Grape Tomatoes
In a small non-stick or ceramic skillet, add a drizzle of water to the bottom and place fresh spinach leaves on top. Add 5-6 grape or cherry tomatoes. Spring garlic powder, cover and steam on low for 6-10 min just until wilted.
Amish Farmer Bowl
In an iron skillet, combine-cook scrambled eggs, fried or roasted hash browned potatoes, green peppers, onions, chopped ham or bacon. Transfer to a bowl and add a scoop of curd cottage cheese.
Chalupa Breakfast Bowl
Place a chalupa shell or tostado shell on the bottom of the bowl. Scramble or hard-poach the eggs, season with chipotle powder or pepper. Add to the bowl along with, black beans, sliced avocado, and arugula leaves, Top with cheddar or jack cheese, and a dollop of sour cream. Sprinkle desired amount of taco seasoning or spicy pico sauce on top.
Veggie Style Breakfast Bowl
Poach the eggs and add a handful of arugula, mashed avocado, a slice of David's Seed Bread toast, chopped tomatoes and shredded carrots. Sprinkle with paprika, savory seasoning, or Mrs. Dash basic.
Eggs Alaska Breakfast Bowl
(Pictured below) Poach two eggs, place on english muffins atop a slice of smoked salmon. Top with hollandaise sauce. Sprinkle poppy seeds and chives overtop. Pair with an arugula salad, feta cheese crumbles, diced tomatoes and lemon dressing.
